Does Apple charge for repair under warranty?

I am getting a part on my macbook replaced. The person on the phone said it was under warranty. But, I see a 3 charge from Apple for the repair/part. Is this just so I will sent the damaged part back or has Apple charged me for the repair?

  1. Once you send the damaged part back you will be credited if you’ve already been charged. Or you will be charged that id you do not send it back.

  2. They won’t charge you if it is under waruntee.

    If they have charged you they will usually re-pay you after they have checked your waruntee, but you should still check this out before it’s too late.

    My advice: ring them to make sure!

  3. how old is it and did u buy a warranty package –or do u have the standard one–not everything is under warranty –if u split something on it or it fell —u pay and the shipping
