I have a macbook pro that I bought before the new generation macbook pro came out. I also have a warantee for that macbook pro. If I accidentally dropped and broke my pro, would apple's warantee fix my macbook or would I be given the new generation pro instead?
Not sure. Maybe you’ll get lucky and get the new one!
Probably just fix your old one.
If you have accidental coverage, you may get a replacement but it is up to them if you get a new model or the same one you broke.
