How to turn on built-in iSight camera on MacBook Pro?

I was using my macbook pro and i was on photo booth taking weird pictures. I closed out of photo booth and then when i went onto imovie it said to connect a camera..... and i wasn't allowed to take pictures on photo booth anymore. So how do I either turn on my camera or fix whatever is happening?
