Continual problems with my MacBook – will Apple replace it?

I have had a white plastic 13" MacBook (with Tiger) for 2 1/2 years now. It has broken (not my fault) 7 times. Three times it was a logic board replacement. Twice it was a hard drive replacement. Once it was a keyboard replacement. Once it was a screen replacement. I have heard that if your computer breaks a certain amount of times that Apple provides a free replacement. Is that true? And if it is would I get a white plastic MacBook or the new silver/black MacBook(This one is slightly more expensive. Would I have to pay difference)?
