How to fix firewall on my MacBook Pro?

i just bought the macbook pro and i installed limwire but the firewaal it's not let it run how can I fix that

  1. You can disable the firewalls if you have them on. Go to ‘System Preferences’, then ‘Sharing’. Click the Firewall tab and uncheck the boxes to disable. That may help although it’s good to restart them if everything else works fine with them on.

  2. It depends on what type of firewall you have. I don’t know how to do this on a mac anyway.
