I have a macbook I bought in like december 06 and it's got that magnetic charger, sometimes the light wouldn't turn on when I plugged it in but it always charged, now I accidentally knocked it off of the computer and it won't work. the computer and the magnet were out of contact for maybe 2 seconds and it suddenly stopped working altogether
I tried restarting/taking out the battery but no good.

It is unlikely that the problem is on the computer side. It is more likely a problem with the charger. A quick way to find out is to use a friends charger if you know someone.
otherwise you can take it to the mac store. If you do this make sure to make an appointment online. in busy stores they will not see you the same day. You can make an appointment online at the genius bar.
Unfortunatly they make chargers that just dont last that long
. You might be lucky and if you have apple care it might be replaced for free.
There is no visible damage to either the plug or the socket? Take them both down to an Apple store and they can test if the problem is in the comptuer or in the charger.
