...how it works and
FYI ONLY Sometimes when you spill stuff like soda in a keyboard if you wash it with warm Water and a tiny drop of dish soap and rinse it let it dry out compleatly it will work again. (TAKE OUT THE BATTERY
Perhaps do this as a last resort.
Go to the Apple website, download the manual for your model. Find the directions for your model MacBook. Use them to remove the keyboard, & the battery. Wipe down the inside of the computer wherever it looks like the urine went. Check the back of the keyboard, see if any got in there. Reassemble the MacBook except LEAVE THE BATTERY OUT!!. Take the MacBook outside, good place would be a sidewalk. Plug in the power supply, take a deep breath, and push the on button. If no smoke comes out, there is no sparking and the computer starts up, you are in luck. If you see or smell smoke, unplug your extension cord. The computer uses a power supply that provides a lower voltage, the only thing that can explode is the battery. If nothing happens, you are out of luck. No one will want the computer for parts, maybe some PC guy would buy it for target practice.
