Macbook problems – is my logic board fried?

The screen currently will not light up (aka the cold cathode light) I need to know what the chances are of that specific part of the logic board being fried. Everything else on the laptop works.

There is no way to accurately diagnose the problem this way. However, if EVERYTHING else is working, the logic board is likely just fine. There are many things other than the logic board that can fail to cause this problem.
Take it to a repair shop and get them to diagnose it.
