MacBook Pro 17" Batteries

The MacBook Pro 17" battery is a 68 watt/hour lithium-polymer module that's rated at up to 5.5 hours of performance, depending on settings and usage. That's a higher rating than the MacBook Pro 15's battery, to accommodate the larger screen. It's pretty durable but if you need to replace it, it's just a matter of switching out the old for the new.
