Can I swap a MacBook Pro matt screen for a glossy screen?

My Macbook Pro (previous model not the new one) is developing gray spots all over and I would rather have a glossy screen anyway. Does anyone know of any cheap/quick services that will do this? Preferably in the NYC area, but if not, it's ok. Thanks!!

  1. ppl at the apple store will do it for free..
    walk into the store at soho or 5th avenue..
    cuz it seems that ur macbook is having cosmetic damage so apple fixes dese things for free..

  2. get out the phone book and call all local repair shops.

  3. Probably since they offer them, it will be pricey to change it out though. Try Computer Renaissance, they rebuild computers so they may be able to change it for you.
