MacBook shuts down when charger cord is unplugged?

OK, Ive seen SO many threads about this. But none have an answer.
My Macbook works perfect, battery is half charged and reads (Calculating) constantly.
My power settings are on Better Energy Savings
Now, I had this issue previously but there was an X through the battery. When this happened (sporadicly) If the power cord was knocked out my computer would turn off. No shut down / not go to sleep just like if you pulled the power cord out of your TV.
I took my mac book to the service center and they gave me a new battery.
As soon as i got home i found that the same symptoms were there. I dealt with it and didnt let the power cord come out for a while but after a few weeks couldnt handle it and took it back.
3 WEEKS LATER my computer was returned to me with a new logic board, and ANOTHER new battery.
But ALAS tonight it happened again. No X, just turns off when the cord comes out
Has anyone else been through this? I need my computer for work and cant keep taking it in like this!

Hmm… I have "about" the same problem as you. I would suggest that you go over to the Apple Retail store so you could talk to them again, and say that the new logic board and battery doesn’t work. Just make sure to bring the charger so they could check if there’s a short circuit. Have you tried setting the battery power to "Normal"?
Another thing you can try is reseting the SMC. Here’s how:
1) Turn off your computer.
2) Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer’s battery. (After it FULLY shuts down!)
3) Press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
4) Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
5) Press the Power button to restart the computer.
If that doesn’t work, then I suggest that you send a complaint to Apple, then you buy a new laptop from a company from your choice!

Take the thing to them again(those apple ppl)
tell them wat happens in detail
and say that u’ll log a complain against them if its not fixed(talk in a harsh way)
take the charger too and tell them to inspect it too and try a new battery tooo.
there can also be a short circuit inside so chek that too.
I have been through this on my brothers macbook. All you need to do is change the battery settings back to normal battery life. hope this helped.
