Question about MacBook display?

does the white macbook have an LED display or LCD?

  1. The answer is no, not at the moment.
    Although the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air do, that wonderful tech hasn’t made it into the lower end books yet.
    Give it time. Almost certainly the next generation will.

    And to follow up on the answer before me, the question relates to backlighting. LEDs have gotten very small and are used as a cooler and more power efficient method of backlighting LCD displays.

  2. deinatley wouldent, maybe if it was about 10x bigger than yes, LCD offer a much higher resolution compared to LED, LED is used for screens on big scoreboards etc, if you look up close you can very easily see each LED light.
