Will running Macbook on AC damage battery?

I tend to use my Macbook with the AC adapter if I am near a power outlet instead of draining my battery, but I was wondering if this could lead to damage either to the battery or the Macbook?

No it can’t hurt the battery because the charging circuit knows when the battery is fully charged and reduces or even stops charging current going into the battery
No, it won’t hurt it. Just make sure you condition your battery every 3 months by allowing it to completely discharge and fully recharge.
