Hey there Yahoo! Community!
My MacBook keyboard has gotten kind of dirty from every day use. What's a way I can clean it without buying any special products?
Simple ways to clean the keyboard would be to first turn if off (including removing the battery) then flip it over to get all the crap out that gets stuck between the keys. Buy a can of compressed air or you can use a bike pump and blow out the remaining dust and debris. Finally get some wetnaps (do not use on the LCD screen) or baby wipes and wipe it down.
If you have need to clean some more stubborn stains etc. you can get a bottle of rubbing alcohol and some q-tips/cotton swabs and clean even further.
Then plug your battery back in and enjoy a nice clean MacBook keyboard.
Use a Mr. Clean magic eraser…it works really good!
