  1. probably getting a new battery. it mite sound weird but if u leave a thing in the charger to long it is horrible 4 the battery. it happened to mi friends airsoft gun.

  2. if you leave any device with a rechargeable battery plugged in for way too long, it will kill the battery. the capacity will dwindle down until eventually it just can’t hold a charge. you can prevent this by unplugging your device once it has reached 100% but some devices display 100% when it’s really at 80% or something so once you see it show 100% don’t leave it plugged in for more than an hour or so.

  3. you have to buy a new battery, its prolly outta life and it doesnt matter if u charge it.

  4. Your battery has gone the way of old yeller,

Call apple and get a new one.

  5. The only thing you can try is remove the battery and charger, then hold the power button to drain any residual energy. This resets the PMU. Throw the battery back in and try it out. If that doesn’t take care of it, you’ll need to get a new battery. Batteries typically last 2-3 years at most. Beyond that, they’re on borrowed time.

  6. get a new battery

  7. You do need to get a new battery.. but leaving the macbook plugged in is not a problem. You can leave it plugged in at all times, even while in use.. without harming the battery in any way.
