Used Macbook Pro A1286 For Parts(as Is)

For sale is a used late 08 model A1286 Macbook Pro 15in. It has the 2.8 ghz processor and 2 gb of memory. This is being sold as is and does not power on. I had to replace the trackpad and after replacing the unit would not power on. The logic board may be damaged. The screen works perfectly, but it would need a new connector to go to the logic board. The memory is not damaged. I would be keeping the hard drive so I can try to get my info off of it. It will not come with the battery because it will not hold a charge anymore anyway. The case has some dents and scratches. The trackpad is new. Some of the connections to the logic board have been damaged during trackpad replacement. I will include the magsafe charging cord. It works perfectly but has some visible signs of wear and tear such as staining on cord and scratches. I will include all manuals and cds which came with the computer. I do not have the original box anymore. The keyboard works great. One of the fans is in good condition while the other has a bracket that is broken where it connects to the case. The superdrive is in good working order. This would be a good Mac for someone that needs it for parts, such as a new screen, trackpad, memory, or top case. I am selling it as is with no returns or refunds. It was working fine before I replaced the trackpad. It has snow leopard installed and I will include the snow leopard disc.
