Normally the RAM and Hard Drive are user serviceable. Please note that while upgrading the RAM will most likely not void your warranty, upgrading the hard drive will.
Other parts are harder to get to and will definitely void your warranty.
Very few! Mac hardware is proprietary. You want hardware, you pay Apple out the wazoo. Now the gig is to con the public into believing mac can be setup to run windows applications which leads people to believe they can run anything on a Mac. This is far from the truth. Mac graphics suck and wont run any software that requires complex graphics. The simple act of changing their chipset was because they were sucking hind teat in the market. Their Ipod is another example of a joke. You cant copy music from someone elses pc unless you install the software on it and then convert the file. You dont need to do this with any other media player on the market. Apple has the few people who buy that rubbish messmerized into believing its the best. If Apple spent more on quality and less on these foolish ads………
screen if broken– cd/dvd player –hard drive –keypad those are not that bad to replace if broken –ram to upgrade that’s it
