Where to find Macbook Pro 15″ part numbers?

How can I find the part numbers for the top and bottom casing of a 15" Macbook pro 15" purchased in late Nov. of 2006. (means other than tearing the computer apart). I have the serial number etc if that's any help. Thanks in advance

You won't find individual part numbers on a Mac only the serial number of the MacBook Pro which you already have. Apple stipulates that all its suppliers remove all of their little logos so that you can't work out who they got the components from. Apple prefers to have a high level of secrecy with its products.
If your laptop has a faulty component and you need to get it repaired you need to send it to an Apple authorized tech.
Back up your data to a hard drive before you send it.
